Decoding an RFP and best practices for a proposal layout

Presented by Brian Cosbey, Business Development Director at Bohannan Huston. Brian Cosbey has been writing and coordinating A/E proposals since joining the industry in 2002. In this time, he has grown familiar with the processes, terminology, and typical documents produced in the engineering field. Understanding these basics has enabled Brian to contribute writing, editing, and review support to both proposal and technical projects at BHI. Accordingly, he provides insightful guidance and document feedback that help transform complex technical ideas into understandable concepts, eliminate textual ambiguities, and facilitate comprehension by the intended audience(s).

Mr. Cosbey is adept in the MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite software packages that are used for word processing (MS Word), document formatting and layout (MS Word and Adobe InDesign), and graphic creation (Adobe Illustrator and Adobe PhotoShop). Taking advantage of the specific capabilities of these programs enables him to quickly develop well organized and visually appealing documents that integrate both text and graphics.
