Michael Madrid, CPO, CPPB

Michael is currently the Chief Procurement Officer and Director for Rio Rancho Public Schools. He holds certifications and license as a Chief Procurement Officer through the State of New Mexico and is a Certified Professional Public Buyer, as issued by the Universal Public Procurement Certification Council. He has worked at Bernalillo County as the Public Works Administrative Officer, providing oversight for various infrastructure projects, as well as Albuquerque Public Schools, providing oversight to various construction projects which exceed $500,000,000. He has over 30 years of procurement experience and has administered over a thousand procurements for a variety of products ranging from construction, fire trucks, curriculum products, and various professional services including architectural and engineering services.
